The story of our visit

First visit:

The place is charming and the food ranges from good to very good. Admittedly, finding parking isn't easy given its location just steps away from one of the entrances to Parco della Caffarella.
The carbonara was excellent, with a generous and creamy egg sauce—not like other places where they make it predominantly with pecorino as a matter of principle. The guancial was abundant and sufficiently crispy, and the pasta, a spaghetti alla chitarra, was cooked just right. The amatriciana was less successful, decent enough, but perhaps tilted too heavily toward tomato, possibly due to too little pecorino. The supplì was outstanding, at least 50% larger than the standard serving, well-fried and very flavorful.
We finished with a tiramisu that my wife found very good, though I was less convinced—it struck me as a bit too sweet with an overly pronounced alcoholic note in the coffee component.
The prices are neither cheap nor excessively high, but I'd say they're fair for the carbonara and supplì given the quality offered.
Overall, this place deserves a recommendation and is worth trying out on some of their other dishes.
