The story of our visit
Nice place, better than expected, with affordable prices and good quality for what you pay. We're not talking fine dining here, but it's worth a visit for a relaxed evening out. We tried the bruschette, which were very good, a couple of classic Roman pasta dishes—carbonara and amatriciana—and tagliolini with cherry tomatoes, guanciale and pecorino. All quite good, though never outstanding. One note: if the menu advertises crispy guanciale, then the guanciale should actually be crispy, and in none of the dishes we tried was it. To finish, a molten chocolate cake that was overcooked and therefore lacked that liquid center. Overall, a solid option if you're watching your budget.
